ANNUAL CONGRESS AND JUBILEE EXHIBITION EUROART 

From 26 to 29 September, the 30th Annual Meeting of Euroart (euroart.eu) took place in the cradle of the classical artists’ colonies, the French Barbizon. Some 80 participants from various European countries once again showed how important such a network is for the arts and how well it can function with craftsmanship and enthusiasm! Our Museum has been a member of the federation since 1998 and was later followed by the municipality of Veere. Alderman Bert Tuk was present on behalf of the municipality at this anniversary annual meeting and chairman Arnold van Houtum and curator Francisca van Vloten were there on behalf of the museum. Van Houtum is also a board member of euroart and Van Vloten is chairman of the scientific advisory committee and also curator of the cultural museum hotel L’esquisse, where the Annual Meeting took place.
