FRIENDS EVENING

The museum’s annual Friends Evening this time took place on Wednesday, July 31.

In the Domburg Johannes Church, Jenny Reynaerts gave a wonderful lecture about the models and muses who posed for the artists Breitner, Toorop and Mondriaan. Jenny Reynaerts is senior curator of 18th- and 19th-century paintings at the Rijksmuseum. Since March 1, 2023, she has devoted herself entirely as a curator to the subject: Women in art and history.

Afterwards, the lecture was discussed in detail in the museum garden over a snack and a drink.
