NEW ACQUISITION: PAINTING VICTOR GILSOUL

A beautiful painting by Victor Gilsoul as a new acquisition to the museum. Made in Domburg in 1910 and a nice impression of a church exit – a special Domburg scene. Gilsoul (1867-1939) was educated in Brussels and Antwerp, received advice from Franz Courtens, among others, and spent the First World War in England via the Netherlands. In 1924 he became a teacher at the Higher Institute in Antwerp.
