VERY SUCCESSFUL OPENING & VISIT OF THE MUNICIPALITY

On Saturday 18 March, the very successful opening of the Spring Exhibition ‘SWEET HARMONY. Six contemporary artists in harmony with nature‘ of the Museum Domburg took place in the midst of some 130 enthusiastic guests. The opening was performed by Bert Tuk, alderman for Culture of the municipality of Veere. With Jackie Bongers, Ineke de Brouwer, Johan Elenbaas, Rose de Groot, Charlotte Houwing and Michiel Paalvast.

About two weeks later, Veere’s new mayor Frederiek Schouwenaar and the Operations department visited the museum and the exhibition with no fewer than nearly 60 interested civil servants. After an explanation of the future plans, this early sunny spring day was followed by a long discussion over a drink about the significance of the museum for Domburg and the surrounding area.
