Domburg is a beautiful city with a seaside resort status. This means a healthy and in particular beautiful area with clean swimming water.
Domburg has a small boulevard and a beautiful and clean beach. The museum is located in the centre of the town, nearby a lively shopping street and not far from the forest and the big and beautiful sand beach.
Domburg is situated on the northwestern side of Walcheren. About 14 km from Middelburg and 18 km from Vlissingen. The nearest train station is in Middelburg, where an intercity train with a direct link to Amsterdam arrives every hour. For bus connections to Domburg you can refer to the website of Connexxion (Line 52).
Paid parking applies in Domburg from March 1 up to and including October 31. At about 10 minutes walking distance from the Museum, there is on the Roosjesweg at Sportpark Oosterloo a parking lot that is free during the day. See www.veere.nl.
The museum is well accessible to wheelchairs and the museum itself possesses a disabled toilet. Dogs are not allowed inside the museum. The museum garden is an oasis; in good weather you may enjoy a cup of coffee or tea there and admire the variety of statues.
